About appraisal, estimating, and working with CP4 Group.

What is insurance appraisal?

Appraisal is a process in a property insurance policy for addressing a disagreement about the amount of a loss. The policy and applicable requirements determine how it works. It is different from a real estate valuation or a home inspection.

Can appraisal resolve a denied claim?

Appraisal generally addresses the amount of a loss, rather than whether a policy provides coverage. Coverage denials, exclusions, and legal disputes should be discussed with a qualified attorney. We can help identify whether the issue you describe fits the services CP4 provides.

How long does a Xactimate estimate take?

Typical turnaround is about 72 hours once the file is complete. Scope, documentation, and project complexity can affect timing. We’ll discuss what is needed and the expected schedule before the work begins.

Who can work with CP4 Group?

Property owners, contractors, public adjusters, and attorneys can engage CP4 for independent appraisal or estimating. Professionals keep their existing role in the claim while CP4 provides the agreed service.

Where does CP4 Group work?

CP4 Group serves Texas, Colorado, and Oklahoma. Include the property’s state and city in your inquiry so we can discuss the assignment.

What should I have ready?

For an initial conversation, a short description of the property, its location, and the point of disagreement is enough. If the assignment proceeds, relevant estimates, photographs, measurements, and policy or claim documents may be requested through an agreed channel. Please do not put sensitive documents into the contact form.

How are fees determined?

Fees depend on the service and assignment. The scope, fees, and next steps are discussed before you engage CP4. The website does not offer an automatic quote or make a payment request.

Does sending the form appoint CP4 as my appraiser?

No. An inquiry starts a conversation. An appointment or engagement requires a separate agreement and any steps required by the policy. Sending the form does not extend or pause policy deadlines.

What happens after I send an inquiry?

Your inquiry is emailed to jr@cp4claims.com and saved privately as a backup. Keep the reference shown on the confirmation screen. CP4 can use the email or optional phone number you provide to follow up about the assignment. There is no instant eligibility decision or guaranteed response time.
